The Shack

I had been craving BBQ nachos and after doing a Google search, I saw The Shack had them. I had a few beers once there, so I stopped in this evening to try their nachos. They were sooooo good! Plenty of pork BBQ and other toppings and they never got soggy from any excess BBQ juice. I will definitely be back with my kids!

Best barbeque in the Tricities! Everything I have ever gotten here is excellent, from the main dish to the sides. I highly recommend this place!

*Hidden Gem Alert* This is one of the "don't judge a book by its cover" places. Hole in the wall, looks like your average bar, but man is the food good. If you're in town for just a day, I'd highly recommend making a stop here. BBQ Chicken Quesadilla was amazing and the fries were the best I've ever had, shoestring with some peel. The burger was good. No matter what you get, you have to be sure try all three BBQ sauces (at least on your fries).

The service was great and very friendly. Tolerant too I might add. The BBQ chicken and twice baked potato were phenomenal 👌

Stopped here on the way home from Chattanooga. Really awesome Bbq and environment! Made fresh and friendly employees!! Great place to stop for a amazing lunch or dinner!!!

Love their food and the Shack has a fun, inviting atmosphere. Good place to kick back and relax with friends or family.

It was ok. I had ribs and they were ok. For $20 I expected a little better, but I wasn't disappointed.

Great service. Good barbecue but not great. Seems more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant.

Full rack of ribs were falling off the bone. Great flavor. Green beans were also very tasty. Beer only, no wine or spirits.

My family stops here every year after a race at warriors path state park and I love their burgers dad loves the pulled chicken plate and I hear the ribs just fall off the bone!

Awesome place! Live music, amazingly delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and clean bathrooms. We visited while traveling through town. We would definitely be regulars if we lived nearby! This place was packed, everyone loves it. We had a great time. I had the pork plate and a very fresh salad. My husband had wings and a sandwich. Most definitely recommend!!
